| ABSTRACT: This article pay research attention to the local tourism destinations in Vietnam based on example of Ho Chi Minh City. The need to attract domestic visitors is particularly important in the time of Covid-19 pandemic while we have seen a significant decrease of international visitors coming to all the national tourist sites. This is the right moment for Vietnamese tourism companies to assess and enhance domestic customer satisfaction to offset the reduced income from foreign guests. |

The role of formative assessment in business education in Vietnam |

| ABSTRACT: This study investigates the role and the effectiveness of using formative assessment in teaching practices of business schools in Vietnam. Formative assessment shows us how useful and impactful is engaging students in active acquiring knowledge, solving teamwork business case studies, dealing with simulated business decisions instead of taking final exams. Students majoring in business of Vietnamese universities must rely on multiple feedback information from formative assessment to evaluate their knowledge and improve their practical skills. Working in groups is also essential channels to self-assess and peer- assess to take advantage of own strengths and to overcome own weaknesses. The study employed questionnaire, in-depth interviews and observations as the research methods. The results of this study showed that students majoring in business from developing countries like Vietnam, compared to their counterparts in developed countries, need to be involved more in formative assessment practices which help them shift away from conventional knowledge acquisition to focus on creative and active enhancing real-life business skills and capacities. |

| ABSTRACT: Purpose – This study aims to point out the importance and the relevance of sustainability issues and the need for their enhancement in the contemporary model of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as the top priority for business entities. Furthermore, it also highlights ways to enhance sustainability in the contemporary CSR model in the fast fashion industry of developing countries. Design/methodology/approach – Literature review has been extensively done through available databases, including ProQuest and ScienceDirect.Findings – This study delivers a full insight into the current state of research on the CSR model and sustainability in developing countries. The prevalent corporate environmental sustainability practices of global apparel brands are identified to propose ways to enhance sustainability in the contemporary CSR model.Research limitations/implications – The growth of fast fashion industry brings the risks of unsustainability to developing countries. Thus, it is a must for the garment and textile companies to enhance a sustainable CSR model through promoting sustainable leadership and integrating corporate culture.Originality/value – To the best of author’s knowledge, this study is the first to emphasise the role of sustainable leadership in promoting a sustainable CSR model in the fast fashion industry of developing countries.Keywords Sustainability, Developing countries, CSR model, Fast fashion industry |

| ABSTRACT: Scientific research activities are vital in university to train new labor force adapting to the continuously changing working environment. In the digital age, there have been many changes in the approach to scientific research methods. These changes tend to be more equyvalent to research conditions for everybody. The conventional way of scientific research management has been outdated and inappropriate. In the new normal after the COVID-19 pandemic, the needs of society will change significantly. Many old jobs and traditional ways of work will disappear, and new ones will appear. The characteristics of scientific research in the new era will be fast, timely, and flexible. Therefore, lecturers must change their mindset of approaching scientific research to enhance scientific activities. This article delves into this issue. |

| ABSTRACT: Dự thảo Luật Doanh nghiệp (sửa đổi) có nhiều điểm mới tiến bộ, góp phần mở rộng và đảm bảo tốt hơn quyền tự do kinh doanh của nhà đầu tư. Thế nhưng các quy định về mô hình công ty hợp danh lại không hề có bất kì đề xuất sửa đổi, bổ sung nào, mặt dù đây là chế định đang tồn tại nhiều hạn chế cần phải được khắc phục. Vì thế bài viết này chỉ ra những điểm còn bất cập của mô hình công ty hợp danh trong Luật Doanh nghiệp năm 2014 để từ đó đề xuất các kiến nghị cho Dự thảo Luật Doanh nghiệp (sửa đổi). |

| ABSTRACT: Pháp luật Việt Nam hiện hành đã có nhiều quy định điều chỉnh về thời hiệu khởi kiện trong từng lĩnh vực chuyên ngành và các quy định này đã góp phần hoàn thiện quy trình, thủ tục tố tụng tại Việt Nam. Bên cạnh đó, các quy định của pháp luật cũng bộc lộ một số vấn đề dẫn đến việc hiểu và áp dụng khác nhau trên thực tế, đặc biệt trong những trường hợp các bên tham gia giao dịch đã có thoả thuận về thời hiệu khởi kiện. Bài viết trình bày lý luận về thời hiệu khởi kiện, các quy định về thời hiệu khởi kiện được quy định trong các văn bản pháp luật, các quan điểm khác nhau đối với những thoả thuận về thời hiệu khởi kiện của các đương sự và một số đề xuất, kiến nghị nhằm hoàn thiện pháp luật về vấn đề này. |
