Many attractive scholarships for the academic year 2013-2014
For the last five years, The Saigon International University (SIU) offered more than 46 billion VND in scholarships. Students who demonstrated high academic ability at high schools or enrolled in SIU for 1st, 2nd , 3rd expectation received funding. SIU has focused its scholarship towards students in the English and Computer Skills programs.
The scholarship program for applicants will continue in the academic year 2013-2014.

The Saigon International University (SIU) belongs to The Group of Asian International Education (GAIE), which includes The Asian International School (Primary School IPS and Middle & High School AHS), The Institute of Asian Studies (IAS), and The Saigon International University (SIU). GAIE currently has over 12,000 students from primary to university, 11,000 trainees, 2,000 Vietnamese teachers and 200 foreign teachers working in 12 modern campuses in Ho Chi Minh City. GAIE is considered to be the largest international standard group of education with the best training quality in Vietnam.
SIU helps Vietnamese and foreign students advance their education to the tertiary level. All SIU programs are taught either in English or in Vietnamese. It is based on the standard of the American university curriculum.
SIU does not hold an annual entrance examination. It enrolls students based on the student scores in the university/college entrance examination. Those who achieve a score of at least the level of the standard score set by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam can submit their admission application to The SIU.
More chances for enrolling in the diploma to bachelor degree’s program and the transfer program
In addition, students graduating with a diploma can continue to study the diploma to bachelor degree’s program at SIU. It gives opportunities to students who desire to obtain future success after only 2 years studying at SIU.
SIU’s degrees are recognized nationally and internationally. As a member of the world’s leading education organizations such as the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) – USA, the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) – USA and the cooperation with some famous universities, graduates of SIU are eligible to get into higher education at many universities in Vietnam, the UK, US, Australia, Canada and etc.
Further, SIU provides an international learning environment with small-sized classes so that students have a plethora of opportunities to interact with their lecturers in classes. Seminars, workshops and presentations are held regularly. Students have a variety of opportunities to interact with policy makers, presidents, CEOs, executives, chairpersons and experts from leading companies in Vietnam and foreign countries. This will help them to solve real-life problems relating to their studies and build business relationships for their future. In the academic year 2013 – 2014, SIU will grant 100 full tuition scholarships, which includes 80 scholarships for students of the programs taught in Vietnamese language (166,9 – 191,9 million VND per scholarship) and 20 scholarships for students of the programs taught in English language (433,9 – 475,6 million VND per scholarship), and 5% – 20% tuition scholarships for all SIU students.
This year, SIU will offer 30 full tuition scholarships for first year students who have achieved the highest score in the 2013 high school graduation examination (41,7 – 118,9 million VND per scholarship), 30 full tuition scholarships for two courses of the TOEIC & TOEFL program (5,8 – 13,8 million VND per scholarship) for students with the second highest rank in the 2013 high school graduation examination and 30 full tuition scholarships for one course of the TOEIC & TOEFL program (2,9 – 6,9 million VND per scholarship) for students with the third highest rank in the 2013 high school graduation examination from 30 high schools nationwide.
For students attractive scholarships as follows: full tuition scholarships (41,7 – 118,9 million VND per scholarship), 60% tuition scholarships (25 – 71,3 million VND per scholarship) and 40% tuition scholarships (16,7 – 47,6 million VND per scholarship) for the first year of study for students who achieve the first, second, and third highest scores respectively in the 2013 high school graduation examination. For all other The Asian International School students, SIU also offers 20% tuition scholarships (8,3 – 23,8 million VND per scholarship) for their first year of study at SIU.
